The Castel Gandolfo Walk

"Build your own castle."

Castellis was named on a reflective walk above Lake Castel Gandolfo, after a piece of counsel from a mentor: build your own castle. Not a fortress against the world — a structure of your own making, with foundations deep enough to outlast the weather of any single decade.

That metaphor became the practice. Castellis Health helps biopharma and life sciences leaders build internal AI capabilities the same way: with foundations of clinical truth, regulatory maturity, and partnerships designed for permanence.

Biography

Eighteen years across pharma, policy, and global health.

Christina is a former Executive Director at Novartis with 18+ years of experience building partnerships and driving strategic initiatives at the intersection of global health, pharmaceuticals — including oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, and infectious diseases — and international policy.

She has held roles of increasing responsibility across the World Health Organization, Roche and Genentech, and Novartis, working across biopharma commercialization, public–private partnerships, and cross-sector collaboration in highly regulated healthcare environments.

Her work has focused on building partnerships and ecosystems that connect scientific, commercial, and policy stakeholders to advance complex initiatives across global health and life sciences — strategic programs spanning pharmaceutical launches, alliance management, market access, and multilateral health initiatives.

Christina is particularly interested in the role frontier AI can play in transforming biomedical research, healthcare delivery, and global health systems — and in ensuring that AI is deployed responsibly in complex scientific and healthcare environments where reliability, safety, and real-world impact are critical.

She is a dual MD and MBA graduate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and is based in Berlin.
